We love to explore regions that are remote and mostly untouched by tourism, avoiding the caravans of tourists that can be witnessed on the popular trekking routes in high season in Nepal.

The Himatrek team take an exploratory trek twice a year to find new routes off the beaten track where people's lives have remained unchanged for generations and it seems as if time has stood still. These trips are generally camping trips and usually take some effort to reach the destination but you are rewarded with the real Nepal, far away from the tourist routes.
